Donald Trump

Even by his own abysmally low standards yesterday’s performance in the Oval Office from Putin’s puppet, Trump was astounding. And, performance it was. Zelenskyy was invited to the White House for a well-choregraphed public humiliation from the narcissistic, evil, loathsome excuse for a human being that is Donald Trump, and his sycophantic henchman J D Vance.

It was embarrassing, it was distressing. It was revolting and it puts America to shame.

Americans are rightly proud of what they call the American Dream; that the USA is a land of opportunity where anyone can be rich and successful if they work hard. Some say that Trump epitomises this concept, although it’s doubtful that he has ever had to do a day’s work in his miserable life, but now we have confirmation of what we have all thought for some time – Trump is the American Nightmare.

We are running out of words to describe him. Imbecile doesn’t even go close, whilst Moron, which I used yesterday, is but a compliment. Trump is a bombastic, self-indulgent, egotistical, pompous dunderhead.

I make a plea to King Charles: withdraw your invitation to Trump to visit the UK and withdraw it immediately. If the visit now goes ahead, it simply means that your words of support to the Ukrainian people and to Zelenskyy are just that – meaningless words. Ukraine needs Europe’s help more than ever. There will be repercussions if the visit is cancelled and the UK will no doubt feel the full force of Trump’s wrath but everyone knows that you do not give in to a bully. If you do the bully gets even stronger. This is the time to stand up and be counted.
